Be prepared for your first dental appointment at Smile Brookline.

Insurance & Financial

We are a fee for service dental practice. At time of treatment, we will collect payment for all services. Your dental insurance company will reimburse you directly for your insured dental benefit. Checks come directly to you typically within 2-3 weeks.

  • We process all insurance company claims, pre-treatment estimates, appeals, and verify insurance coverage.
  • We submit all claims (no paperwork for you), and you will be reimbursed directly from your insurance company.

Our office works with most dental insurance plans and will be happy to assist you in verifying plan coverage, submitting claims electronically, and working to ensure the timely processing of claims. However, it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility for knowing what is covered and what is excluded from his or her dental plan.

We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on information available to us. We ask that you keep us informed of any changes to your insurance, because it is essential that all information is current for claims processing purposes.

The majority of dental plans reimburse approximately 30-80 percent of treatment costs. Our office works closely with you and your insurance company to obtain pre-treatment estimates before procedures are completed.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, flexible spending cards, personal checks, and cash.
